 ANTHROPOLOGY ACTIVITIES

Here are some of the things I have been doing in applied anthropology. Many of the others are listed in the web projects section.

NAPA LPO Liaison I am the Local Practioners Organization liaison for the National Association for the Practice of Anthropology.
WAPA Webmaster for the Washington Association of Professional Anthropologists since 1998; I'm happy to retire if anyone wants to vollunteer... I am also a past president and serve in other capacities.
Presentations A list of some of my publications and presentations.
Communications Bibliography soon to be online bibliography concerning anthropologists and communication.
AAA OMB In the fall of 1997 the American Anthropological Association responded to the race categories proposed for the 2000 US Census. After 100 years, anthropology disavowed the "three race" taxonomy. I was part of the effort to publicize the new thinking of anthropology on the issue of race.
Master's Thesis A summary of my master's thesis.
NAPA Bulletin A summary of a publication based on my thesis. More information is in the Web Projects section.
